建筑工程学院是国家骨干院校重点建设部门之一，获得国家重点财政支持和省财政配套支持1380万，现设有《工程造价》、《建筑装饰工程技术》、《建筑工程技术》、《智能建造技术》4个专业。学院现在籍学生1326人；在职员工43人，其中专任教师34人（19名教师有企业从业经历），教育部能源类专业教指委委员1人、省级专业带头人1人、省级教学名师2人、院级专业带头人8人、教授1人、副教授5人、高级工程师3人、高级经济师1人、硕士学位教师24人；另有外聘企业兼职教师15人。
